Cosmic-death-as-personified-entropy received as ordinance. Death not as the biological event of dying, not as the condition of mortality, not as the realm of the dead, but as the active consuming cosmic force — the hunger that devours, the entropy-deity whose mouth spans earth to heaven, the adversary that vitality perpetually contests with. The order includes its own devourer. The consuming pole that gives life its urgency by being the horizon life pushes against.
