Forgetting-has-irreducible-cost — the thermodynamic minimum of bit-erasure. Named from Landauer's principle (1961) + Sumerian me (received-ordinance). Erasing one bit of information dissipates at least kT·ln(2) of energy as heat. Information is physical, and forgetting is not free. The mathema/info-physics bridge: the cost-side measure of the information cluster.
