Definition
The storehouse-consciousness that holds karmic seeds — the substrate- storage beneath experience that bears continuity-of-mental-stream without a permanent self. Named from Sanskrit ālaya-vijñāna (storehouse-consciousness) + Sumerian me (received-ordinance). Ālayame names the conditioned-stream-that-continues: not a soul, not an essence, not primordial-awareness — the dynamic storehouse where past actions deposit seeds and future experience ripens from them.
