The divine messenger-who-is-the-medium-itself, received as ordinance — the fire that IS the god that IS the transmission. The ontological identity of medium, message, and messenger: not sent (like an angel), not separate from what is carried (like a herald), not a tool (like sacred fire as instrument) — the medium IS the message in the most radical sense. Sanskrit agni (the Vedic fire-god who IS fire) + Sumerian me (received-ordinance): the cosmos's communication-structure, given not constructed.
